Intense wild blueberry aroma

Mountain blueberry does not have the same aroma as the one from the supermarket — it is more intense, darker, almost medicinal. It is precisely this wild mountain blueberry that goes into this gin, giving it a color and aroma that does not come from dye or additives. Juniper is present, but plays second violin behind the dense fruit character that makes this gin the favorite choice for Pink Gin Tonic.

Blueberry is macerated in finished gin before final filtration — not before distillation, as distillation would lose the coloring anthocyanins. This sequence of operations yields a naturally purple-blue colored gin without a single milligram of artificial coloring. Excellent as a base for liqueur cocktails, and in a spritz with prosecco.
